All hand fabricated, this bit features 2 ⅜” solid sterling silver engraved conchos. Over 160 hours were spent working on this piece, which consists of 53 inlaid, welded, or soldered components. As a "Tool of the Trade'' this bit represents the communication and bond between the horse and rider and the horsemanship knowledge that has been passed to me by so many great horsewomen and then through me to others. The flowers that I have engraved in the silver and the leaves that I have sculpted in the steel represent the love for nature that I and the women I have worked for and with have been fortunate enough to appreciate and be surrounded by everyday.
