On one of the days I was visiting to gather my reference photos, Kim was checking on their cow calf pairs. There was a steer that had refused to be separated from the cowherd in the past. A promising opportunity arose to get him separated and caught in a smaller pen up close to headquarters. Kim is an excellent hand, and as good as any man. Her timing, feel, and knowing exactly where to put her horse is spot on. It is a thing of beauty…to watch a horse and cowgirl at work, who love their job and know it well! Kim is the embodiment of “Grit and Grace”.
