Kari McCluey "ALL GRIT – NO GLORY"

$8,500.00

Size: waist: 36, leg: 22, length: 37
Leather and mixed media chaps

These chaps are inspired and dedicated to the women of the 2P Cattle Ranch in Council Idaho, Debi Peterson and the late Jeanne Ingersoll. The Peahen, no flash, no flare(or not much anyway), is certainly not the attention getter of her counterpart, the peacock in all his grandeur. She represents perfectly women in western culture. Cowgirls and ranchwomen are truly unsung heroes to me. Gritty and graceful, handy and kind, strong and ever busy, yet always welcoming. They can(and do) rope a calf and drag him to the fire to brand, vaccinate and medicate, and basically all the same work as the men on the ranch, and then fix you supper after. I find tremendous beauty in their smile worn faces and rough calloused hands. They do it all and more, without all the fanfare

Please be aware that this item will not ship until October.
