This drawing is of one of my granddaughters after a long day of work on the ranch. She is part of the 6th generation raised in the ranching industry. She had just unbridled, uncinched, and haltered her horse and loaded her in the trailer. She was patiently waiting on her grandpa to finish up and load his horse - tired and dusty, but satisfied with a good day done. This epitomizes the modern day ranch cowgirl for me. Doing a hard job with grit and grace.
