I'm honored to showcase the incredibly skilled, hardworking women of Sergeant Performance Horses, Hardin, Montana. RaeAnn Svedberg and daughter Mesa represent two of multiple generations of champion, expert horse training. RaeAnn and Mesa are harnessing a team of majestic Shire mares. Sergeant Performance Horses is unique in that they offer a horse that comes from some of the best bloodlines in the industry. They put a strong ranching foundation on them. Their horses are exposed to various situations that cannot be emulated in just an arena. Then they put on a reining foundation, so the horse is well trained and knows how to move off of leg pressure, and how to put their feet where the rider wants. Many people are really looking for that horse that is safe and yet has a little extra. Their aim is to produce to the public the horse that has all the right buttons in all the right places. A person can relax on them and yet have the "time of your life". As RaeAnn shared with me, "We're not all ranch, we're not all show, but we are all Cowgirl!!" They're also among the kindest, generous, hard working women I've known!
